Throughout the month of February, dedicated members of the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise stepped up each Friday afternoon to support the incredible team at Niagara Falls Community Outreach and their Soup Kitchen initiative.

As part of the Soup Kitchen's “Freeze the Hunger Fridays,” Rotarians assisted with unloading and organizing generous food donations collected from the community. From lifting boxes to sorting items and helping stock shelves, our members were proud to lend helping hands to ensure food could be distributed quickly and efficiently to those who need it most.

February’s chilly weather made the work especially meaningful. While temperatures dropped outside, the warmth of community spirit was unmistakable inside. The “Freeze the Hunger Fridays” campaign highlights the ongoing need to support individuals and families facing food insecurity — and we were honoured to play a small role in helping make a difference.

Service above self is more than a motto — it’s action. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Niagara Falls Community Outreach - The Soup Kitchen and look forward to continuing to support programs that strengthen and care for our community.
