Our own Brian Kon presented a fascinating talk this morning on his proud Metis Heritage. Did you know that there are only 400,000 Metis in Canada?  The aboriginal Nations of Canada consist of the First Nation, Inuit and Metis nations. These three groups are enshrined in the Canadian Constitution (1982).  It's too bad we only had 20 minutes.  There was so much more that Brian could have explained, to us all.  Thank you Brian for helping us understand our "Canadian Heritage Moment".
