The auction is a Regional venture with the Niagara Falls Sunrise Rotary Club, the Niagara Falls Rotary Club, the Welland Rotary Club and the St. Catharines Rotary Club. It is held in conjunction with Cogeco Cable 10 the Niagara Falls Review and the St. Catharines Standard. Several local business’ contribute items which are auctioned off during a live weekend broadcast on Cogeco Channel 10.
The objective is to raise money which the Niagara Falls Sunrise Rotary Club and Niagara Falls Rotary Club portion of the proceeds are used in Niagara Falls to support community development, human development, environmental development and the Greater Niagara General Hospital’s on going equipment campaign.
The TV Auction is a major fund raiser for each club. Each club can raise and contribute to their Rotary projects in excess of $20,000.
